In your short time of taking it from print to digital, it is already becoming an important source of local and timely information. On this occasion of the celebration of our 250th anniversary of our nation, your reminders of the importance of a free press are more important than ever. I appreciated 👍 your comments about your time as an editor at the Burlington Free Press 🗞️📰 newspaper. I was a subscriber from 1989 to 2020, with fond memories of pulling it out of that blue 💙 box. Times change, I remember when well known people like Chris Bojalian and Steven Kiernan were on the staff. I wonder if they combined forces with other formerly strong newspapers in Rutland, Montpelier, Bennington and Brattleboro, they might be able to fill a statewide niche.

Does the Burlington Free Press 🗞️📰🐕🦺 cover nitty-gritty local news that would be of no interest to folks outside the city 🌆❓👌🤔 I doubt they do as much as the Shelburne, Charlotte, and Hinesburg papers do. Of course, there's the paradox that the 🦐 smaller the town the more interest there was in local gossip and hard 🆕 news‼️🗞️🗞️🐕🦺🦮
